APPLICABLE EXAMS

Do you need to take one or more of the SDSU undergraduate assessment exams? Click on the exam links below to see if your major is required to take placement assessments.

Applies to all undergraduate students. Satisfies the California state and local government portion of the American Institutions requirement.

The purpose of the Chemistry Placement Assessment is to determine which Chemistry class you can enroll in during registration.

Students applying to, or in, the Japanese Language Program at SDSU.

Required for Liberal Studies major prior to enrolling in MATH 312 or 313.

Students intending to enroll in MATH 141 (Precalculus), MATH 150 (Calculus) or MATH 124 (Calculus for the Life Sciences).

Score Release Information: Scores sent directly to the Registrar's Office.

Languages available: French, German, Italian, and Russian.

May be taken by any Liberal Arts and Sciences major to satisfy the foreign language requirement.

 

How Do I Request Accommodations?

Students requesting accomodations for a placement assessment should have their accommodations approved by the SDSU Student Ability Success Center (SASC). Contact Testing Services at [email protected] for questions.
