We have moved
Testing Services is open in their new location Gateway Center, Room 1538, 5250 Campanile Drive. We will open for test proctoring on Tuesday, Jan. 16.
Testing Service is located in Gateway Center, Room 1538, 5250 Campanile Drive. Recommended parking is in either P7 on the west side of campus or P3 on the east side of campus.
Directions:
WALKING DIRECTIONS FROM THE PARKING STRUCTURES
- From P7, walk across 55th Street onto Hardy Avenue, heading east. Continue on Hardy past the Extended Studies Center and you will find Gateway Center on the right. Make a slight right turn onto Campanile Drive. There you will find the front entrance to the Gateway Center, 5250 Campanile Drive. Room 1538 is down the hallway on the first floor near the back of the building.
- From P3, exit the parking structure and walk west toward the residence halls and the large arched bridge. Do not cross the bridge, but instead turn left and head south to Lindo Paseo. (If you reach Montezuma, you have gone too far.) Walk on the sidewalk westbound until you reach Campanile Drive. Cross the street and turn right, heading north. On the left you will see the KPBS building and the second building will be the front entrance to the Gateway Center. Room 1538 is down the hallway on the first floor near the back of the building.
Parking Permits Required
Visitors must purchase a permit to park at SDSU. Permits are required at all times including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Options for purchasing parking permits are listed below.
- You may purchase a permit from one of a few on-site pay-permit machine locations listed here.
- You may use the PayByPhone© app (on iOS & Android devices), by PayByPhone website, or by phone at 1-888-515-7275 (the account will be activated immediately and the parking session can be started on the initial phone call).
- You may purchase a guest permit for the day in advance from the Aztec Parking Portal.

Parking structures
From Interstate 8:
- From Interstate 8 take College Avenue South
- Continue south on College Avenue, then turn left onto Zura Way halfway up the hill.
- Parking 3 will be the first parking structure on the right.
- Note: Visitor permits are valid only in student parking spaces.
From Montezuma Road:
- Enter campus on East Campus Drive (one block east of College Avenue).
- Parking 3 will be the second parking structure on the right.
- Note: Visitor permits are valid only in student parking spaces on the 4th and 5th floors.
From Interstate 8:
- Take College Avenue South
- Turn right on Lindo Paseo
- Turn right on Campanile Drive
- Turn left on Hardy Avenue
- Cross over 55th Street and drive into P7.
From Montezuma Road:
- Turn left on 55th Street if coming from the west (turn right if coming from the east)
- Turn left into P7.
Public Transportation
The SDSU Transit Center serves the San Diego Trolley (Green line) and several bus routes. Bus and trolley routes and schedule information can be found on the San Diego Metropolitan Transit System website.
